In the classroom we will be comparing and contrasting themes and topics across a variety of topics. Students are creating their digital notebook to reflect/summarize/question the book we are reading as a class (Among the Hidden).
We are also working on analyzing persuasive techniques used throughout the world. Students will annotate and discuss the differences between persuasive and argumentative texts. Students will choose a topic they are passionate about and write pieces of a argumentative paper.
